We just wrapped up the final Google Meet sessions with all six volunteer teams for WordCamp Malaysia 2025.
The energy was great. Everyone is ready to help you enjoy a smooth and memorable event on 7 December.
Here’s a brief look at what each team has been preparing.
Registration Team
Lead: Tung C. Hon
Mentor: Ooi Peng Hao
- They reviewed the entire check-in flow.
- You’ll be greeted with friendly faces the moment you arrive.
- They made sure the badge and swag pickup process stays fast and simple.
Questions asked in their call showed one thing: they want your morning to start stress-free.
Floor Helper Team
Lead: Noorain Quoirussofea
- They walked through all zones and duties.
- They will guide you around the venue, help you find your sessions, and solve small issues before they become big ones.
They also practiced the phrase “No worries, let us help you” many times.
Security & First Aid Team
Lead: Ben Leow
- They went through safety protocols.
- First aid readiness was the main focus.
- They covered steps to keep everyone comfortable and secure.
You may not notice them much that day, but they’ll be watching over everything.
Emcee Team
Lead: Teh Yong Li
- They refined stage flow and transitions.
- They aligned on announcements and timing.
- They made sure the vibe stays energetic from start to finish.
Expect a cheerful and lively stage on event day.
AV Team
Lead: Hadee
- They checked equipment needs.
- They prepared backup plans for each room.
- They tested cues for speakers and stage crew.
You’ll enjoy clear audio, smooth slides, and a polished experience.
Photographer Team
Lead: Suzaidee
- They planned coverage for talks, hallways, and group moments.
- They locked down style and timing.
- They discussed how to capture the spirit of the event.
They’re ready to help you bring home great memories.
