Contributor Day at WCMY25 was truly something special — and it wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you who showed up, shared your time, energy, and skills.
From the moment the doors opened, the room was filled with collaboration and excitement. Contributors came together across different teams — code, design, documentation, translations, marketing, community, and more — all with one shared purpose: to give back to the WordPress ecosystem and strengthen our open-source community.
Whether this was your first time contributing or you’ve been part of the community for years, every contribution mattered. No effort was too small. Each task completed, discussion held, and idea shared added up to real impact — and together, you helped move the WordPress project forward.
We were inspired to see new contributors stepping up with confidence, experienced mentors guiding patiently, and friendships forming over shared goals. These moments reflect what Contributor Day is really about: learning, growing, supporting one another, and building something meaningful — together.
