Your Commitment as the Media Partner
As a WordCamp Malaysia 2025 Media Partner, you agree to:
Share your media coverage plan – before, during, and after the event. This should outline the types of content you will create (e.g., articles, social media posts, podcasts, videos), the number of pieces you plan to publish, interviews you expect to conduct, and any other planned activities.
Publish at least three pieces of content (article, video, podcast, or similar feature) before the event to build excitement and awareness.
Create and publish at least two pieces of content during the event in line with your submitted media plan.
Post at least one article, video, podcast, or recap after the event. This could include a reflection, review, or interviews with Speakers, Sponsors, Organizers, or Volunteers.
Ready to work with the WordCamp Malaysia 2025 Organizing Team to promote various calls for speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and other marketing content.

The journey to WordCamp Malaysia 2025 is in full swing! Each week, we’re taking new steps to make this event a reality, and we’re excited to pull back the curtain and share our progress with you.
Our team has been buzzing with energy, fueled by coffee and a shared mission: to make this year’s WordCamp unforgettable. One of the first things on our minds was finding the perfect voices for the stage. We were absolutely blown away to receive 66 speaker applications—a record! We’ve spent countless hours diving into these incredible proposals, and soon, our internal voting will determine who gets to share their expertise with all of you. Likewise, we’re also toying with the idea of a coding challenge to add an extra layer of fun!
Meanwhile, the hunt for our emcees is in full swing. We’re searching for charismatic individuals who can keep the energy high and the conversation flowing. Shoutout to those who have already stepped up to the plate. We’re also making a special effort to bring more female voices to the stage to ensure a balanced and dynamic lineup.
