How to use AI agents to click, configure and care for your WordPress site
Every WordPress freelancer knows the drill:
Same updates every week.
Same SEO checks.
Same performance tweaks.
Same WooCommerce settings across different clients.
What if you could hand these repetitive tasks to an AI that actually clicks through wp-admin for you?
Watch an AI build a WooCommerce store from zero to checkout-ready
See it handle plugin updates, detect conflicts, and automatically roll back when needed
Observe as it perform SEO audits and implement fixes across your entire site
Learn how simple prompts become powerful automation workflows
Meet computer-use agents—AI assistants that can see your screen, navigate WordPress, and execute your exact workflows.
Think of them as tireless junior developers who follow your playbook perfectly, create backups before touching anything, and document every single change.
During this talk, you’ll witness the magic firsthand:
Watch an AI build a WooCommerce store from zero to checkout-ready
See it handle plugin updates, detect conflicts, and automatically roll back when needed
Observe as it performs SEO audits and implements fixes across your entire site
Learn how simple prompts become powerful automation workflows
The breakthrough?
You don’t need technical skills.
These agents work from plain English checklists—the same ones you probably already use.
I’ll show you how to transform your WordPress routines into automated playbooks with built-in safety nets.
Whether you’re a solo freelancer juggling ten client sites or an agency owner trying to standardize operations, this session will revolutionize how you think about WordPress management.
You’ll leave with ready-to-use automation templates, a safety-first workflow that protects production sites, and the confidence to delegate 80% of your repetitive tasks to AI.
Top minds at WordCamp Malaysia 2025 will discuss AI’s impact on WordPress.
We’re excited to introduce our first-ever panel forum at WCMY25: “The Future of WordPress in a World of AI Website Builders.”
AI-driven vibe-coding tools and one-click builders are changing everything. What used to be the domain of tech-savvy web designers is now open to anyone who can write a prompt.
What’s the future for the platform that powers over 40% of the web – and more importantly, the thousands of designers & developers who rely on the platform for their work and business?
This is a vital, forward-looking conversation. Our experts and community leaders will explore how WordPress can not only survive but thrive alongside automation. We’ll discuss how AI is transforming web design and development workflows and why human creativity, community, and open-source innovation still matter most.
Join us to hear our panelists debate the challenges and opportunities ahead. We’ll focus on practical takeaways:
Leveraging AI: Using AI tools to enhance your WordPress services, not replace them.
Open Source Resilience: What WordPress offers that AI builders simply cannot.
The New Professional: Redefining your role as AI becomes a partner.
Don’t miss this essential discussion on adapting and building a better web together.
Hear insights from our fantastic lineup: Nathan Onn, Al-Hadee, Ahmed Kabir Chaion, and Shahjahan Jewel, moderated by David Wang.
Why This Debate Matters
AI website builders are changing how websites are being created, but they also challenge what makes WordPress and the open web; unique. WordPress has always stood for openness, creativity, and human collaboration. As automation grows, this discussion is about preserving those values while learning how AI can enhance, not replace, the people who build the web.
At WordCamp Malaysia 2025, this debate goes beyond technology. It’s about how designers and developers can evolve their roles, how open source continues to drive innovation, and why creativity and community will always be the real engines of progress in a world increasingly shaped by AI.
This is your chance to engage directly with leaders and shape the dialogue on WordPress and AI.

Kinsta is the top-ranked WordPress hosting company on the user-review site G2 because more than 120,000 businesses know we’re fanatical about keeping their websites up and running. Web publishers want to focus on their content. Developers, their code. Agencies, their clients.
Instead, we’re serious about the “managed” part of Managed Hosting for WordPress. That means fine-tuning the fastest virtual machines available in 37+ Google Cloud data centers.
