Contributor Day at WordCamp Malaysia is just around the corner. On 6 December 2025, at Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, WordPress fans from all walks of life will gather to give back, learn, and build together.

What Is Contributor Day & Who Should Join
Contributor Day is a chance to give back to WordPress, learn from others, and collaborate on open-source projects. Whether you are into coding, design, accessibility, plugin / theme testing, documentation, translation, or community building, there is a place for you.
You do not need to be an expert. If you are new, the Table Leads will guide you. If you already have experience, you can help others and work on real tasks.
Everyone’s help matters. Even small tasks such as documentation improvements, testing, translations, etc. contribute to a better WordPress for users everywhere.
How Contributor Day Works
On Contributor Day:
- You pick a table (area) that matches your interest or skills when registering.
- You will meet the Table Leads and the rest of the team.
- You stay for as many sessions as you like: a focused hands-on session, collaboration, or lighter teamwork.
- You get to meet other WordPress contributors from across Malaysia and beyond.
Bring your laptop, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to help. Whether this is your first time or one of many, you will find value and community.
