I’ve worked with WordPress for more than 15 years on personal, volunteer, probono and client projects. I’ve built simple brochure sites to complex membership site with ecommerce and LMS features requiring lots of custom code and integration with 3rd party APIs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My focus in the past 2-3 years has been on building custom plugins. I’ve created 10+ plugins, most are on wordpress.org and freely available for the community. This has been a great learning journey and a way to give back to the community. Two of the plugins I created has a paid upgrade option and one of them has been my sole, full-time focus since the beginning of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, I’ve transitioned from being a freelancer to being a product creator slash business owner. In other words, I no longer sell my services and time and have transitioned to creating and selling my own product.
