Victor has been a tech enthusiast for many years. He discovered WordPress when his interest in building websites re-ignited and have built more than 100 websites and web applications on WordPress. Apart from being an organizer of WordCamp Hong Kong in 2019 and 2023, his contribution to the WordPress community includes being a speaker in the Hong Kong WordPress Meetup group multiple times since 2018 and being a Translation Contributor and Translation Editor in WordPress.org. As of April 2024, he has attended 12 WordCamps including 9 in person.

Wesley Chong is an experienced software developer with a strong background in designing and implementing innovative digital solutions. With over two decades in the tech industry, Wesley has worked extensively on a wide range of platforms and technologies, specializing in web and mobile app development. His expertise spans across Next.js, Flutter, and WordPress, allowing him to create seamless integrations and cutting-edge applications that meet diverse project requirements.

I’ve worked with WordPress for more than 15 years on personal, volunteer, probono and client projects. I’ve built simple brochure sites to complex membership site with ecommerce and LMS features requiring lots of custom code and integration with 3rd party APIs.

My focus in the past 2-3 years has been on building custom plugins. I’ve created 10+ plugins, most are on wordpress.org and freely available for the community. This has been a great learning journey and a way to give back to the community. Two of the plugins I created has a paid upgrade option and one of them has been my sole, full-time focus since the beginning of this year.

So, I’ve transitioned from being a freelancer to being a product creator slash business owner. In other words, I no longer sell my services and time and have transitioned to creating and selling my own product. I hope to share some of that experience with you.

Zee is the Tech Fairy who helps blog owners with their WordPress website issues. Previously, she ran PlayPause, a Digital Marketing & Branding boutique agency with her husband for 2 decades.

With her experience and skills, she aspires to help more people to be at ease with tech – specifically WordPress websites.

Zee has been designing websites on WordPress, growing alongside from its infancy. Through the years of designing through coding then design builders, she now advocates designing with the default 2024 WordPress theme.

She believes building WordPress websites does not need to be scary. It can be as easy as A to Zee by taking one step at a time.
