Just like how volunteers make WordCamps around the world happen, we need your help to make WordCamp Malaysia a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Volunteer with Us?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At WordCamp Malaysia, we want as many people as possible to join in. To make it happen, we&#8217;re keeping ticket prices low. When you volunteer, you&#8217;re helping us keep costs down and create a great event that\u2019s accessible by everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WordCamp Malaysia is put together by volunteers who work hard before and during the event. By pitching in, you&#8217;ll be a big part of making WordCamp Malaysia an amazing time for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roles and Opportunities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We need volunteers to pitch in and make WordCamp Malaysia amazing! These roles are awaiting your participation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Photographer<\/strong>: Capture special moments with your camera<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emcee<\/strong>: Be the friendly face that hosts and facilitates the event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Floor Helper<\/strong>: Assist in organizing and managing the event area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick a role that suits you, and join our team to create a fantastic WordCamp experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Get<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a volunteer at WordCamp Malaysia has great perks. You don&#8217;t need to be a WordPress expert \u2013 everyone is welcome, even if you\u2019ve never even built a website before!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a volunteer makes you an important part of the global WordPress community, connecting you with people from around the world. This helps you grow in leadership, communication, organization, and teamwork.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a thank-you for your help, volunteers get a <strong>complimentary ticket to WordCamp Malaysia 2023<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Code of Conduct<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a volunteer, you reflect the event&#8217;s friendly atmosphere. Hence, it&#8217;s important to follow our Code of Conduct, respect the WordPress trademark, and support the WordPress license. As a valued team member, we expect you to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be considerate, respectful, helpful and collaborative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep a positive attitude<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and abide by the <a href=\"https:\/\/malaysia.wordcamp.org\/2023\/code-of-conduct\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"21\">Code of Conduct<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Register as a Volunteer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you sign up as a volunteer, you&#8217;re showing us that you&#8217;re ready to dedicate your time at WordCamp Malaysia 2023 to assist the Organising Team.
